I gave my family a chief of staff

Every family runs on an invisible operations layer — appointments, forms, birthdays, who picks up whom and when. In most families it runs on one person’s memory. In ours, it ran on mine.

So I gave the family a chief of staff: an assistant that reads the incoming chaos, keeps the calendar honest, and carries the scheduling load with us instead of on me. It nags the right person at the right time, which used to be my job title.

Like meal-os, it’s built for my family and not going anywhere else for now. But the shape of it — an AI that owns a household’s operations instead of answering questions about them — feels bigger than my kitchen. I’m writing down what works.
